Apple Support for businesses that run on Macs.

On-site and remote Mac support for businesses across Leicestershire and the Midlands. Twenty years of Apple experience, and no being told to reinstall.

Most IT companies support Windows and tolerate Macs. If you have ever been told to reinstall macOS to fix a printer, or sat waiting while somebody worked out where a setting lives, you already know the difference between the two.

We have supported Apple hardware in business for over twenty years — single-Mac design studios, mixed offices where the directors use MacBooks and everyone else is on Windows, and fully managed environments running Macs, iPads and iPhones together.

What we actually do

  • Setting up new Macs, iPhones and iPads so they arrive ready to work
  • Everyday troubleshooting — the things that stop somebody getting on with their day
  • macOS updates and upgrades, planned rather than sprung on people
  • Getting Macs talking properly to printers, file shares and network drives
  • Migrating someone onto a new machine without losing anything
  • Advising on what to buy, and honestly, on what not to

Macs in a Windows office

This is where most of our Apple work actually happens, and it is the part other providers tend to fumble.

A Mac in a Windows business has to share files with Windows machines, print to the same printers, use the same Microsoft 365 accounts, and satisfy whatever security rules apply to everyone else. None of that is difficult, but all of it is fiddly, and it goes wrong quietly — the Mac user simply stops using the shared drive and emails files to themselves instead.

We sort that out properly, so the Mac is a full member of the office rather than a machine that mostly works. If Microsoft 365 is at the centre of it, that ties in with our Microsoft 365 support.

When it needs Apple

We should be straight about this, because plenty of providers are not.

We are not an Apple reseller and we do not have a private line to Cupertino. What twenty years gets you is knowing which route actually resolves a problem: whether a machine is still in warranty or covered by AppleCare before anybody commits to a repair, which faults Apple will simply replace and which they will argue about, when a repair is worth doing and when the machine has honestly had its day, and when the right answer is a Genius Bar appointment — which we will book for you rather than leave you to it.

Knowing when not to spend your money is part of the service.

A Mac that was set up properly is boring for years. That is what you are paying for.

New machines, ready on arrival

Apple’s own business tooling lets a new Mac or iPad configure itself the first time it is switched on — the right apps, the right accounts, the right settings, without anyone sitting over it for an afternoon.

For a business buying more than the occasional machine, this is the difference between a new starter being productive on day one and losing half a day to setup. We can put that in place whether you buy your hardware through us or not.

Getting started

If you have Macs and no one who really looks after them, start with a conversation. Tell us roughly how many machines you have and how they are used, and we will tell you what is worth doing — including if the answer is “not much”.
